After collecting images with the drone, it's time to upload them into the system for further analysis.
- Please remove the SD Card from the drone and insert it into your computer. Some computers require an adapter. You can also download the images straight from the drone, which will be significantly slower.
- Press the "Upload Images" button on the right bar.
- Select the type of mission you want to analyze based on the missions you took.
Note: The images are "GeoTagged," which means every image has a location and time signature. This means the system automatically knows where and when the images were taken, saving you time and worries.
- To upload images, press the "Browse" button.
- Enter the "DCIM" SD card folder and select the relevant images you want to upload or "Drag and Drop" an entire folder.
Please Note that in Mavic 3 Enterprise and Multispectral drones, the folders are named by missions, which makes the selection easy, while in other drones, the images are saved in the 1000 files folder. This means you must document the mission time flight to upload the relevant images for the correct feature. - The upload process has two steps:
a. Image verification.
b. Image upload.
Both steps depend on your internet connection and CPU. Faster internet and a free CPU will make the upload quicker. - There are three uploads signals:
Green - The image was successfully uploaded.
Yellow - The image was successfully uploaded but not inside the field boundaries. If this happens to a large number of images, check if you created the polygon or the mission in the right place.
Red - The image upload failed. Retry to upload it again. If the error remains, send the image to an AgroScout support representative for further investigation. - Once the image upload is completed, the layers will appear in the following:
20 Minutes - Statistic Stand Count and Canopy Coverage.
60 Minutes - Pest and disease AI report.
6-12 Hours - Orthophoto.
Important notes:
- Since the images are "GeoTagged," you can upload multiple field scouts for the same mission in one upload.
- For orthophoto uploads, you must choose the type of layer you wish to create: RGB or NDVI (only for Multispectral users). Each layer needs to be uploaded separately. The system knows to choose the relevant images for each layer, so use the "Drag and Drop" option.
